Masai Mara is the most popular park in Kenya as it contains all of the big 5 (lion, elephant, rhino, buffalo, and leopard) and it is home to the great wildebeest migration. Lake Nakuru is a bird lover’s dream. Here you will find over 400 species of birds, over 500 species of plants, and more than 50 species of mammals.
Amboseli is the only park that provides a great view of Mt Kilimanjaro. Tsavo East and West National Parks provide great diversity in landscapes. The East has flat, dry plains, the Galana River, the Yatta Plateau and Luggard Falls. The West is more mountainous and wetter, with swamps, Lake Jipe and the Mzima Springs.
